Customer service was beyond outstanding. Right in the middle of downtown but very accessible to so many venues within walking distance. A big plus, full kitchen in the room plus a great morning complimentary breakfast before you head out.$$$ Definitely recommend!
Despite the mixed reviews I read, I always like to try something for myself and I’m glad I did. From the moment I walked through the door to check in from the moment I walked out the door to checkout everything was amazing and top tier. Great breakfast, clean and very spacious room. Ben W was nothing short of AMAZING. Great customer service!!!!
Update: I got a call from Hattie but when I called back she was unavailable so I spoke with Brian on my issues. I’m really pleased with the way they handled my concerns and issues. I hated to leave a bad review on this company in general because it is my favorite stay away from home but, again that’s why I choose Marriott because their customer service remains top tier and the staff made me feel heard and I appreciate that most guys! Thanks so much and I appreciate you all so much. I’m so disappointed and disgusted with this Hotel! I did reach out to corporate to voice all my concerns and issues. I really think this particular hotel needs to remember that Customer SERVICE IS EVERYTHING! On top of that the hotel needs an MAJOR UPGRADE Especially when my daughters and I just stayed at another Residence Inn this September for 3 to 4 days and it was the best vacation we ever had. Galveston location is TOP TIER HOTEL AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. Like it’s unbelievable how much I hate this stay. Corporate will be resolving this issue immediately or I’ll go to BBB! I’m not joking in no kind of way!
Rav and his staff were great hosts for my 1 week stay. Comfortable clean room, good variety at breakfast. Hotel conveniently located near light rail and major bus stops, easy walks to theater district and central downtown.
Wonderful! Front Desk Haddie (sp?) Was super friendly and accommodating. It's great to be greeted with an authentic smile. I parked on my own for 28 bucks one block away. I will be back!
The hotel is located right on the main road, making it very convenient to access. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well maintained. The service was excellent, and the overall vibe of the place was really good. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay.
It's a nice place to stay while attending a conference. The rooms are a nice size with a full kitchen. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Everyone on the staff are amazing and willing to go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction.
Good hotel in a good location. It does seem to be some sort of drop off point for a tourist/bus travel agency but I did not run into any issues with that. The hotel is secure most of the time with hotel guests required to use their hotel key to get into the hotel. The rooms are large and clean. They are not the newest, but nothing to complain about. It is in a great location, with the light rail only a block away. It is within walking distance to a high concentration of restaurants and attractions. As long as you're not expecting a luxury hotel and are familiar with the Residence Inn brand, I would highly recommend this hotel if you have business downtown or are here for vacation.
